Witcher 2 new video

Very very cool stuff from Gamescom 2010. I'd probably say the first and third video are the ones to check out unless you dont mind seeing the entire part of one quest from the game. Mind you theres like dozens of them llololo.

I really hope they bring out another art book like they did with the first game. That thing is pure quality. Greatest addition of any game ever so far.

4 load screens, wow. The game looks very impressive, from the character dialouge to the worlds atmosphere to the combat. Got to get this one day one for sure.

I heard the PS3 version was canceled, never saw any confirmations of it, maybe just a dumb rumor.

Its really polished up. Which is great cause the first one seriously lacked it.

First one was great after the huge patch was released. Noone can fault the first title after that unless they're babies. Anyone who hasnt played the first one SHOULD since you can carry your save over and your decisions from it will reflect in the second.

There was going to be a console version of the first but that got cancelled. The second one SHOULD get a console release but who knows.

Alucard couldn't we just use the existing thread or threads?

I started reading the second English-translated book, Blood of Elves, recently. I am loving it. Sadly the next one, Times of Contempt, won't be released until April 2011 in the UK (no US release date yet). I wish they'd speed up the translation process.

I couldnt be bothered searching back for older threads so this will do. I'd like to get to the books someday too, but my backlog of books is just...well its depressingly huge.

Did you know there is a 13-episode Polish TV series of the Witcher? There's a fansub, but it's pretty terrible. I am strongly considering doing my own fansub, which would be a ton of fun.

I haven't watched the whole series yet, but it's definitely a good show so far. It takes liberties with the source material, but it's pretty faithful overall. I think a proper translation would really bring it to life... We'll see what everyone else thinks if I ever put my plan into action.

I gotta say that I do see some good potential in this. I think the developers were really trying with the first but it rough around some edges. I am going to re-play it later on and finish it fully.
