Saw video coverage of it and was very impressed, really liked how the main guy animated.

Really good job there CD Projekt
Would it be playable on something like this:

XP
2992Mhz
512 ram
Radeon 9200 SE Family

Oh it would be playable. Ugly as sin and jerky but ...actually thats pretty low. I need to ask, how is your system so limited? I mean 512mb ram is...thats almost criminal.

Oh well, guess I'll pass.

As to why its 'low', it isn't for me. PC games don't interest me much so I can't justify powering it up. It has more than enough juice for what I use it for.

Even my old P3 could handle those :p

Nah, I have long since gotten bored of them.

I mostly use my comp for the net, watching movies etc.

Generally if you dont play pc games then you wont find anything to play. Believe me the moment you upgrade you will find dozens of games to play. I have others on these forums who can back my theory up after I hassled them into trading their girls pc to a MANS pc. Or at least a teenager who goes to the gym pc.

I didnt find tons of games to play

I actually regret spending all that money on a beefy PC. In the past 2-3 years with it I have enjoyed a few games (FEAR Combat, Phantasy Star U) but only a handful. Game wise the cost/fun ratio has been terrible compared to what im used to.

This doesnt require a beefy pc, but it can only be played on a pc. You may have seen me post a link for it a while back.

http://www.bit-blot.com/aquaria/

I urge anyone who hasnt tried this to do so. And play Witcher too.

I dled the demo a while back...but haven't had a chance to play it. Too busy playing The Witcher and World in Conflict ;)

That said, The Witcher, while really good in a lot of ways, has one structural problem for me: you're stuck playing - you guessed it - a witcher...so the character development system is so weak it may as well not be there (like a console RPG). My game has kind of stalled because of that. Pitty. Love the setting and the general tone.

I know you are really fond of the platform man but its just not my cup of tea.

I'm certain I'd regret it (like Seraph).

Don΄t women play The Sims om their PCs and Habbo Hotel and I don΄t know what else? Pretty soon Hello Kitty online for the younger ones as well! PC gaming has to offer for females.
