Windows Vista's voice recognition.

Its been in development for some 5-6 years but now M$ is starting to show of the fruits of their labor. One of Vista's features is voice recognition. See this vid to watch it in action.

Vista has a pretty interface but I guess deep down in side, its still a Windows trying to be a Mac. Buuuurn! My fanboy is showing.

More features to make the OS more and more prone to self destruction and user lockout. Voice recognition is possibly the worst kind of security system you could ever wish for.

One thing I find so funny is their totally dislike of Google. I know a guy who is currently in a internship with the company. He says everyone is constantly pumping them selves up on destroying google and thats exactly what M$ encourages.

I don't know about most of you but Google was one of those things that made the world better instead of the crappy MSN, Yahoo, ect searches we had back in the 90s. The very idea M$ wants to either buy google out or destroy them is humorous. Their not a company of innovation. Their just a company who'll bully anyone who "will" do better then them. Not can do better, but will do better.

They want to get rid of google because google's stepping up in what they have. From what I seen (there's probably more), they have the search engine, video, pictures, email, messenger, google earth and all of those are pretty popular. I haven't used my hotmail account (which i believe is part of msn) in a long time. The only thing i use of msn is the messenger and i barely use it as it is.

The funny thing about Google, though I really enjoy their products, is that everything they are making is still in Beta. Even gamil. Though its been out for 4-5 years? Its still in beta.

Who the hell cares about voice recognition in the first place? People with no hands? They shouldn't be on the computer anyways!

I agree. What if someone happens to record you saying your password, then what? Finger print scanners are a lot better for security.
