The graphics mod is impressive and I'll probably give it a install. But the Alex model, while well made, I wont bother with. Alex was a great character cause she wasn't a slut female super model.

Yeah she was. Off camera she was getting it on with her self created vibrating sex robot and also blowing you in the car. These are hard facts. HARD facts.

Alex looks really different. She looks more like the Tomb Raider girl.

STALKER: SoC

-Excellent mod collection, complete retextures for just about everything in the game. Really stunning.

The Witcher: Enhanced

Comes with a self installer so you can choose which parts of the mod you want installed, because it makes the game a real challenge (but not impossible), and some may just want it for its other features, like the extra blood/show wounds.

I'm using both of the above mods currently, and the STALKER one is playable only at 1280x1024, where I still will see <30 FPS w/ lots of stuff going on, so I'm waiting to upgrade for that and Clear Sky, which is even more of a beast than even this mod collection. If you have an 8800 GT or better, the STALKER mod will run fine.

FYI, if you own the witcher you owe it to urself to DL that mod, takes no time, more info about it can be found here:http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=17884.0

You'll never think the combat is easy ever again. Makes the combat more true to the book series, since Geralt wasn't a one man army, and he is in the game. You'll have to prepare for fights using all ur oils, potions, etc. Fodder is still fodder but groups of middle tier enemies will tear u up without the right preperation.

Stalker was a neat game for me but I have a hard time adjusting to the wobbly camera.

Hmm if you mean the way it shakes when you're aiming, yeah, that's a feature. There's actually a mod in that collection that removes it though, forget what it's called. BTW the shaking isn't that bad when crouched, I played completely unmodded, started out stalker difficulty but around when I got the bar area I was playing on master, since the higher ur difficulty in vanilla, the less ur screen will shake. Basically the screen shakes a ton when ur on novice/stalker, but alot less on the higher difficulties, tho u die alot easier of course.

What's great about STALKER is the mods. U really can't play this game unmodded unless u took a time machine back to 2006-7 when it was released. With all the great mods available vanilla just wont cut it even on a first playthru. takes under a minute to "install" that pack and patch it. Also in the gamefaqs STALKER:SoC board there is a thread which i linked which explains how to do alot more stuff (better nightvisio, better flashlight), necessary cuz almost every STALKER visual mod makes the night darker. May want to check that out if u still own the game.

My didn't mind the camera moving so much when aiming it was when I walked or run did it wobble around the most. And that just bothered me.
