I don't see a difference between that mod and the real online play except for the stages. Unless I missed something else.

With the topic of DmC4 on PC I thought I check once again into the horrible port that is RE4 on PC. The mod crew can sometimes do amazing things and Re4 shows how. Below are screens from a homemade mod the fixes textures for the game. Taking them from their console version to a newish PC version.

Also in the mix is a mod to change the botton layouts to use a 360 gamepad.

And then there are mods for ada. Here is a cool hair mod.

For those interested here is a small video of how the game looks in motion with the fan mods.

http://www.mediafire.com/?2yjhsjuisxs

I installed about 10-15 mods in Re4. I improved the res (3x what the port originally did). Leon has new hair. His outfit is high res and completely re-textured. New lighting effects, fog, and sound effects mods were installed. A new texture pack for all the environments was also installed. High res versions of all the guns was installed (though not seen here). And um..what else. Oh yeah. The ladies in this game also got a little makeover but that is also unseen here.

Ok heres a new one thats super awesome. Its a graphic mod for half life 2. Theres a video clip that shows before and after , but mostly its after. I wish the clowns put a splitter down the middle so you could see what it looked before and now with stages and character models.

Quote:
* Added true HDR maps to HL2
* Added 3D foliage to HL2 maps
* Tweaked some of the atmospheric effects in the HL2 maps
* Removed Sight limits range from HL2 maps
* Merged some of the very small sub-maps like town_01a, town_03, town_04, c17_02, citadel_02.
* Added HD dog (if HD addon was found during installation)

Other notes:

* This base install is a large 4.66 GB file that takes several hours to download.
* Requires a gaming rig with 4gb of ram, dual core CPU, and 512MB graphics card able to run resolutions at 1600x1200.
