There's actually a story for this?

I thought it was the shoot opponents in the face and escort your daughter around game.

looks like the opposite to me. All story and some basic uncharted style combat thrown in between cutscenes.

Adding to that i'll say:

Naughty Dog employs the person i think is the best story writer in the whole games industry, Amy Hennig. You can bet your ass that every Naughty Dog game will have a really good story.

For referance, she is the mastermind behind the Legacy of Kain storyline, wich is the most amazing story i have found in a videogame (maybe on every medium. Cant think of anything better). History abhors a paradox.

When a commenter asked if the demo would be available to everyone else later, Monacelli replied, "We haven't decided on that yet. It's highly possible but this is the way to get the demo the earliest!"

The Last of Us is due on 7th May exclusively on PS3.
Same deal as Resident Evil 6, I guess.
