World in Conflict dx9-10 screens and performance

http://www.elitebastards.com/cms/ind...1&limitstart=2

Screens show practically zero difference between dx9 and 10 versions. However the game seems to run like an absolute dog.

I do like the real time volumetric dust/fog. A great example is when a helicopter fly by a dust cloud.

Worth buying Vista and DX10 enabled video card? No

Worth "getting" Vista and you already owned a DX10 video card? why not

WiC I started playing the day the beta came out. Plays and feels like ground control but with a sense of company of heros options. Quite enjoyful 8Vs8 though.

I was impressed with the demo. It is the only RTS I'm interested in along with CoH. It looks great and runs well, and I like how you don't have to do quite as much micromanagement and build tiny structures all over the place. The blow up real well, too

More screenshots and a trailer. I must say the demo is quite brilliant. Very different from your standard RTS. Game is going to be huge. The actual game kinda looks like a massive full scale model board with miniatures that have excellent animation. The scale and detail was amazing.

IGN gave it 9.3/10.

Doesn't usually mean much, but I think this one will go over well. I still have to get the DVD version of CoH.
