Nope, nothing to do with bethesda. Reminds me of the old games I used to play on my C64 etc, like Eye of the Beholder and other similar games. So its more nostalgia based.

After about 5 minutes I've played (only in the portion Almost Human has shown off) I must say its very interesting. The puzzles add a lot of atmosphere and the combat is fun and simple.

Another good review too.
Quote:
I have to give Almost Human a lot of credit. The level design, enemy placement, and especially the puzzles are all, by and large, wonderfully crafted. There are a few instances where the "traps" seem more unfair than clever, but that hardly tarnishes what is otherwise a terrific experience. You'll be hard-pressed to find a modern game like Legend of Grimrock any time soon, but with a game of this quality, you won't need one

Final Verdict:
9.5
Superb: 9s are a hallmark of excellence. There may be flaws, but they are negligible and won't cause massive damage to what is a supreme title in its *genre*.

I died to a walking mushroom

Game is awesome tho, really addicting. I love how the puzzles don't take your hand to finish, you have to figure it out yourself without friggin hints every 5 secs.

I was stuck in a dungeon for 10 mins going oooook they wouldn't do this if there wasn't something else to it... found a brick that was a switch EUREKA!

sometimes there are dead ends and it is game over. Look at X-men on the genesis at the end of Mojo's level, can't be beat!

Game is awesome, I'm stuck on level 4 so far, the one portal sent me to this one puzzle I can't figure out, the tile ticks for 3 seconds but in front of it is 3 pits, but a portal shows up on the 2nd pit. Can't figure it out for the life of me!

I've found almost all of the secrets myself so far.

it is a game that would work perfectly with a touch screen, but I can see people dying more often if they don't get the turning and moving right for it.

It would be great on the ipad, not something small like the iphone/touch. But I wanted this for my pc so I could get those eye of the beholder flashbacks. Wouldnt feel the same for me on a touchscreen.
