hahahhaa sooo true. I did the exact same thing at my brother's wedding and other "important events" and then I found in a store a Mint figure new in the box Secret Wars Spider-man toy for 49 dollars, I cried for hours.

My mint edition of Chrono Trigger is sitting in an air cooled storage unit. Sinful Sam and I put so many hours into that game. We pretty much '**' every character's stats. Despite all the play through the game never got boring.
