I goggled it and supposedly it's at Atlanta, Georgia (US). But I'm unsure if they just advertise that or it's a fact.

MY Monterey Bay Aquairum is also called the 2nd largest aquarium. It's time for a classic 'first loser brawl' in Aquairum bouts.

Also, the MBA has had a least two great white sharks in captivity. And I've seen both! Suck on that!

But seriously, the MBA is an awesome place and should NOT be missed if you are close to it. If you ever go, give me a shout and I'll act as your unofficial tour guide!

"2nd largest aquarium" can possibly mean a lot of things. size of the tank, number of exhibits, etc. the "Kuroshio Sea" video description specifies that it's the "2nd largest acrylic glass panel", and it's pretty evident from the video that the view is epic. i'd love to go there, i love aquariums. i even love visiting the fish section of pet stores. free aquarium!

When I think 'largest' aquarium, I think of largest volume of a single tank, not surface area! That's more impressive! Exclamation point!

yeah, i guess that's technically what "largest aquarium" is, but a big tank is only cool if you have a giant view into it. entirely on the other hand, an aquarium with a large and varied set of exhibits is appealing, even if they're in smaller tanks.

wanna know what's lame? epcot center here in florida (my favorite disney park) has a pretty neat aquarium. when i originally went as a child, the building had a little tram that would take you through a viewing tunnel under the water. this, along with the other features of that building, blew my mind as a kid. now it's a "Finding Nemo" attraction and the tunnel has been replaced with some CG projected onto a wall as you ride along. THAT'S WHAT'S LAME.
