I played the trial and enjoyed it more than WoW. The Fae racial traits are awesome.

I don't have the money to keep up a subscription though.

Yeah I actually was. It was so good that I couldn't play it anymore. I picked it up a couple weeks ago and it was awesome. All of a sudden hours were wasting away so I had to un-subscribe before it lead to something worse.

I played it for a few months back when it was released till they started fucking around and nerfing my dirge. That made me quit and decide to never play a game from them again since I got flashbacks of my bard from EQ1 getting nerfed so badly that it became completely useless to use.

I did two years ago but the combat was too slow for me. To address the issue, they decided to reduce monster hitpoints but also the damage of combat styles. Naturally, that didn't speed up things. Overall, even fully twinked, I couldn't see any progression or improvement in my guardian from lower levels to higher to dispatch enemies faster or challenge tougher mobs. On the plus side: Harvesting was easy since resource nodes were everywhere.

Gaurdians werent about killing fast. They were about taking a shitload of abuse and being able to laugh it off.

I know - they are perfect meat shields. Before the damage reduction to styles, they already had weak combat arts. After that patch, it made things less bearable for me. One of their banes is that they are extremely difficult and boring to xp grind to lvl 70 to enter raids. In my experience, very few groups needed Guardians at earlier levels because there were other classes that could serve as decent tanks and dish out considerably more damage.

That's what I am.. I played Warlock on WoW, so I did a Fae Conjurer. It's pretty easy.
