I recently finished Xenosaga Ep3 and looking at the direction they were taking with the story this will probably be a prequal on the origin of the Xenosaga Universe. But its just me guessing based on the trailers we watched so far, the name Xenoblade: Genesis and the heavy reference about this era towards the end of Xenosaga 3.
One can only say after playing it.

After some flowery videos and admittedly delightful music, Monolithsoft is starting to give us some tangible information on its Wii RPG, Xenoblade. A few new details have recently surfaced, including the fact that Xenoblade is being co-developed with Nintendo itself.

Xenoblade aims to provide "what is wanted by gamers who enjoy RPGs." Surely a noble ambition for any RPG, right? The game allegedly logs over seventy hours of gameplay as well, which should satisfy those that enjoy dedicating their entire lives to roleplaying titles.

I've got high hopes for Xenoblade as a fan of JRPGs, and the fact that Nintendo is taking a hands-on role with its development only makes me more confident. Make sure to check out the new screens while you're here, since the game looks like it's coming along quite well in the visual department. Xenoblade is out in Japan on June 10, while we roundeyes are still waiting on a date.

The best part to the trailer is the scale of the environments. Yeah this E3 looks to be pretty good.

It really does have a disgusting pulse feel to it. Very annoying clip. Just them running for 3min. Although jumping off the cliff was pretty cool.

Assuming reggie and NOA not act like idiots and release the game in the U.S.

Let's see how well this sells Slash. Let's see if "Y'all" Wii owners support this one.

The only thing I don't like is that flashing greatsword the boy wields.

A thing they say that I really like, is that you can form relationships with NPC and help them out with quests leading to friendship and new quests/routes open up. Same with the party characters with personal quests.

Plenty of JRPGs have died in Japan on Wii.
