One of my favorite PC games from my youth (along with Full Throttle, Monkey Island, Diablo, Starcraft, and...errr....Mixed up mother goose). It's basically a motion comic of the first 'The Mask' comics with some animation and very long loading time (3 seconds between panels).

Here is what it was like, minus the animations:

I also picked up one of these:

It's one of the more basic Logitech all-in-one remotes. Tired of having one of the TV, receiver, roku, cable box, and hdmi switch. It's too bad that they can't power on the Wii U (bluetooth) or PS4 (Sony won't allow that), but oh well. It's still super handy to just use one remote instead of 5 and I like the software for it a lot. Got it for $49.99 on sale at Best Buy.

Steam winter sale is on and I just picked up a lot of games.

The Focus dev bundle, mostly for Styx Masters of shadows.

Ys 6, Grandia 2. Going to wait to see what else comes up for the sales before buying more.

and I got the Hot Toys Amazing Spider-man 2 figure. I forgot to order one when they first came out but luckily I found one on ebay that wasn't asking 500 dollars for one.

I mean....it looks kind of interesting.

So now I don't have an excuse when people ask to play this with me.

Pretty basic HDMI receiver. It's actually last year's model (I guess Denon does annual updates of their receivers?) and Best Buy sold it to me at a hefy discount (Found at $180 online, sold for$75). I basically need something to power my speakers and be a decent HDMI switch. Nothing too fancy.

A lot of people complain that's it not all action and there are exploration scenes. People made the same complaint against Murdered: Soul Suspect. Both games concentrate on the story over the action. If you like point'n'click type adventure games then this shouldn't be an issue.

Oh! The Talos Principal got a retail release in the US. Nice! glad I hadn't brought it yet off of PSN. The price put me off for a digital game time to import.

Cool. Every now and then, I enjoy a nice 'interactive movie.' Maybe those disappointed with it would have liked it more if they paid $10 for it.

I liked Murdered Soul Suspect.

I hadn't heard of Talos Principle before I saw it on Amazon. I was just browsing and spotted it. I watched a few game videos on Youtube and it looks amazing. Plus I got it on sale for $30

This was my last shopping trip of the year. I finally completed my Layton collection!

I'm still waiting for it to be on sale here in europe for 10 or 15. I'm actually interested in giving a try. Beeing short is actually a plus for me. As it wont sap too much of my time like the RPG's.

But the sale didnt pop up. :/

I can't believe I own every single amiibo now and just preordered for Shovel Knight and Lucas and Animal Crossing series 2 amiibos.

I'm going to take a picture when I get the rest of the Smash Bros Amiibos of Cloud, Corrion, Roy and Bayonetta come out to have a complete collection!

Ignore the complainers. The game was awesome. I enjoyed it and hope they make a sequel. People think every game needs to be 5,000 hours, open world, and have a massive online community. I don't have time for that crap. This game didn't waste my time, had no filler, and told a good story while being fun to play. That's all I want out of a game.

Sorry for the rant.

Catching up on my PC gaming I just bought Postal 2 from Steam.

Steam is available on the Mac and I tried it there first. But you know what? Postal 2 runs much better if I virtualize a Windows environment, download Steam and run it there.
