AVG question

yeah so I got AVG, supposably better than norton and all, cept when AVG detects a virus I cant remove it, it shows the virus thingy, and I have to click continue, if I click "DELETE" "HEAL" or anything it just says "THAT OPTION IS NOT AVAILABLE" so I have to click continue....

so what gives?

Do what Bombay said, if still no luck try "send to vault", if still nothing just locate the file yourself and delete it or there might be some special removal tool you could get off the net.

Make sure you have the free version and not one of the other ones that need to be paid to activate. And its way better then Norton. I just recently got back from fixing up a friends PC a few days back who had viruses destroying his system. He also had norton on. We fixed that up pretty quick!

send to vault doesnt work either...though I do have a theory

I still have the trial version of Norton so perhaps its deleting the files so AVG cant do anything when it finds the files...perhaps....but yeah...I guess since it says where the file is located I can just go to the source and take it out..

thanks guys
