Sweet Downloadable Games?

Yeah, I'm kinda bored right now, any PC games that are downloadable or just any game from website or what not. I'll play anything, just pretty bored...

I would have suggested Rose, but now you have to pay for it. Granted I never played it just heard that it was supposed to be a good game. If I think about it maybe I'll try to find some more of those totally free games I used to play, I think I played a 2d game that was supposed to be a mmo at some point. However, I don't remember cause its been a while.

I know someone who palys Rose, but I dont like the whole free trial thing. I don't attempt to try during a free trial if I know I'm not going to pay for it. I'm going to try that game Nindalf, thanks for the suggestions Spider and Nindalf.

ROSE was originally completely free, but then I guess enough people were playin it so the company saw profit or something by making people pay for it.

In all seriousness though, there were a few free games ive gotten addicted to.

Gunbound was one of them. Its free, its online, and its very fun.

You can also play their PvP RPG type game thing.... im not sure what to call it but its kinda fun. Its called Rakion, and thats free too.

I used to play Gunz, and that game kicked friggan donkeyballs. Unfortunatly its down at the moment so you will have to wait. Check it out though.

Underdogs has been down for weeks. Something to do with them not paying for their site or whatever.

As of March 21, 2006, the Home of the Underdogs website is broken due to the expiration of the domain name registration. Sarinee Achavanuntakul, during a rare public appearance on the site's IRC channel, related that this was due to credit card difficulties and that the domain would be working again soon. In the meantime, the site is still accessible via its IP address (http://209.120.136.195/[1]), but downloads and screenshots will be unavailable as the servers won't accept IP addresses as referers for those files (this could be fixed, though, by adding the servers' hostnames into your system's hosts file; see here for detailed instructions).

As of March 27, the Home of the Underdogs website is located at www.the-underdogs.info (site does not resolve, use IP address above), due to problems in regaining the domain from register.com. Sarinee mentioned in the website's IRC channel that register.com couldn't contact her and she lost her password, creating the current situation. Negotiations over the .org domain are underway, but as of now the site can be accessed through the IP address.
