Metal Max Xeno: Reborn 1 & 2 plus series reboot Code Zero coming to PS4 and Switch

Never played these 3 games before, wonder if they are any good?

Metal Max Xeno: Reborn and Metal Max Xeno: Reborn 2 announced for PS4 and Switch alongside series reboot Code Zero

Full remake of Xeno due out this winter, followed by a sequel in 2020.

Kadokawa Games announced Metal Max Xeno Reborn and Metal Max Xeno Reborn 2 for PlayStation 4 and Switch, as well as a third Metal Max project called Code Zero (title tentative) for unannounced platforms during its “Metal Max 2021 Road to 30th Anniversary Talk Event ~Bounty Hunter Gathering 2019 Autumn Kick Off~” event today.

Here are the details:

Metal Max Xeno: Reborn

Platforms: PlayStation 4, Switch
Release Date: This Winter (Japan)

Based on the original Metal Max Xeno released for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in April 2018, Metal Max Xeno: Reborn is a full remake that revamps everything from the game engine to various game systems. Players can look forward to enjoying the game anew, as well as the return of the battle dog Pochi.

Metal Max Xeno: Reborn 2

Platforms: PlayStation 4, Switch
Release Date: 2020 (Japan)

The setting goes west… Metal Max Xeno: Reborn 2 is a completely new title themed after “hard” and “survival.”

Code Zero (tentative)

Platforms: In Planning / TBD
Release Date: In Planning / TBD

A new project that plans to reboot the series from its origin by going back to the original Metal Max for Famicom.
