Any Civ players know how to solve the problem of global warming during the game? I'm 99% sure it's unsolvable but I'm still holding out hope the game world won't turn into a desert waste land.

Children of the Nile is by the devs of Pharoah and is wonderful (but the combat is completely hands-off.)

How the heck do you save in Rome Total War?

I tried it during a battle and couldn't do it, tried it while on the world map by bringing up the menu with Esc but both the Save and Load options were not highlighted/unclickable. Stupid snap, had to quit without saving.

Thanks man, tried it and so far so good

Eventhough both are great I can't say either has grabbed me by the balls yet, not really unexpected since I'm a complete noob to the genre. More time to be put in am confoimed.

I don't remember having any problems with saving. Can't help you there.
