Question about the Move

If I want to play House of the Dead 4 do I just need this?



Or do I need that and this?



and do I also need the Eye? This is bullshit how they sell all these seperate parts.

A local pawn shop had all 3 together for $50, I tried to offer $40 but they said no so I walked. But was $50 a good deal?

You need the eyetoy to use the move, but you don't need the analog controller, any game that needs it, you can use your dual shock controller instead. It's just kind of awkward. I got the entire move set for 40 bucks with 2 games and then I got the analog for 15 dollars from staples when they had them on sale.

but if they were giving out a game with it, then yah it is a good deal, no game, you can find cheaper.

No way I'm paying $70. I found a move controller used on amazon for $23 and the eye for $11 + $4 shipping. So about $38 total. It's in my cart but I haven't checked out yet.

But what sucks is I found Time Crisis 4 at a thrift store for $8 yesterday and that mother f'er doesnt work with move, only with a Guncon 3. But currently I have neither.

If all the House of the Deads (or even just 4) supported Guncon 3 I would say screw move and get Guncon 3, but of course they dont.

There is a new version of Time Crisis 4 that uses move. But for 38 dollars, that is a decent deal, you should just get that then.

Sorry have to correct you there I can assure you there is no new version of Time Crisis 4 that uses move. You may be thinking of Time Crisis Razing Storm which works with both. It's the most recent entry in the series.

But Time Crisis 4 only works with Guncon 3.

I bought the move + eye and on Ebay I just found Time Crisis Crisis Zone and a Guncon 2 for PS2 for $17 + 4 shipped. Not bad, but the guncon 2 doesnt work on lcd tvs. Will have to play it on an old tv I have in another room.

Time Crisis: Razing Storm is 3 games in one, Razing Storm, Deadstorm Pirates and Time Crisis 4 are all included and they all work with a move controller, PS3 controller or Guncon 3, I own these games and a Guncon 3 that I don't really use.

I got Razing Storm coming to me. (bought it for $20) Well now I'll have two copies of Time Crisis 4, oh well now I have no reason to buy a guncon 3 at all now. (which is good)

You need the PS EYE, not the EYE Toy. Eye Toy is for PS2. But the extra little remote thingy is pretty much useless, I've never played a game that needed or even recommended it. In fact in the Move Sports game you can use two Moves in the archery game but it's much worse than just using one.

No, Spider Prime mentioned the Eye Toy. You have the correct thing. I always keep it unplugged when I'm not using it as it has an LED which is always on and damned distracting.
