Virtua Fighter 5 looks amazing!

This was on the magicbox main page, there's alot more pics than that there.

I think it looks fantastic.

I want to see it in motion. VF has always had good graphics (well, except for maybe VF3), but the animation has always been a just a little cheesy. It's probably just to make it more responsive. I just want to know if they re-used animations from VF4 or made new ones.

what's wrong with the animation? I always found it to be very smooth and fluid.

I like the way the Great Wall is in its deteriorated, present form.

Has anyone noticed that the characters have been ageing through out the games?
Well.. all but Sarah and Lion.
But Shun and Lao look on the brink of death. ;p

One thing that really amazes me is the detail, you can see each hair on jeffrys chest..
(he has gone natrual)
I kind of wish they hadnt killed off the Sumo he was cool *cries*

Are you talking about the gimp'd DC version of VF3? The arcade version was gorgeous.

It'll be wonderous.

Just goes to show that Sega isn't totally inept at making video games.

In other news, I played Shadow the hedgehog today. Holy ****. Whoever made this game should be plugged in the head for the sake of humanity.

Shadow is mediocre/below average.
As for these images, they're nice, but they don't show u ANYTHING about the gameplay...and is that Rey Mysterio?!?!

It will most likely play like the past Virtua Fighters which are good. Unless you don't like complex fighting mechanics.

Do screen shots of Fighters EVER show you how the game plays?
It plays alot like other VF games it has a few tweaks and
some new dodge attack move I didnt quite figure out yet.

Yeah, I am...I couldn't remember if VF3:TB was the DC or the arcade version. I've only played the arcade version once, but I remember it getting me interested in the console version...bad idea.

As for Shadow the Hedgehog...I think at least some part of Sega is actually a sentient computer AI that can design and program games, but has no human sense of "good taste" or "does this game suck or not?", and thus Shadow the Hedgehog was made and shipped out to the public without any idea of how bad it was.

Graphically anythig Model 3 was light years in tech.... honestly nothing from competitors caught up until DOA2 even then the animations in that game were on par..
