MGS: Peace Walker

I owned it for a short time on PSP but never really got into it. Now I own it on PS3 with the HD Collection. I just started playing the hell out of it and I'm really enjoying it. I would call it MGS 3.5. Very good story, gameplay etc... any MGS fan should play through this.

Yeah I loved it. Didn't finish it, I think I got distracted by Arkham City at the time. I should finish that game.

I beat Portable Ops back when it first came out, and really liked it too. But it feels like it was meant for portables and, since I'm playing Peace Walker on PS3 it feels like it was meant for consoles.

How are the cut-scenes? Too much? Not an issue?

Comic book like and some are interactive. Well it's better to show than tell I guess.

Oh did you mean the amount of them? There's plenty of cutscenes, wouldn't be a MGS without em. I guess if you hate that part of MGS games you may feel the same way here? But I think they're great. Plenty of gameplay to be found as well.

I initially skipped this game because of the length of the cutscenes, but the writing is usually good in MG games. The style does look pretty cool, didn't know they were like that.

It gives some cool new secrets to the story also if you play though all of the missions and whatever. But you have to listen to a lot of tapes that just go on and on and on most of the time.

I got platinum for Peace Walker.......... now that was a bitch.

finished it on the PSP, and absolutely loved it. Can't wait to get my hands on the HD collection.
