Mass Effect is only 5 dollars and Sam and Max complete series for 15 dollars. Very tempting, but I hate downloading huge games, I only have 60 gb bandwidth per month I've already used like 50 of it! Ghostbusters was 10 of it!

This is Canada, we only have crap or more crap to get internet from, Bell Canada controls most of phone lines so even if you find a decent ISP, they're just using Bell still and are just resellers.

They did make it unlimited Bandwidth, but then everyone was downloading like crazy, ie me, so they changed it to service packs that aren't in my town and are also more expensive to get 100 gigs at least. So I'm stuck at lower speeds of 700 KBps and 60 gigs a month

The sales today are just encore sales.

So I just got defense grid for 2.50. I was going to get killing floor and torch light to give it a full go, but I was like NAHH I have like 50 other games I just bought and so sense wasting cash on games I'm not even sure about.

This is what I bought for the full duration of the sale:

Half-Life (Yep, besides playing through the first level back when it first came out on my buddy's PC, I've never played through this classic)
Sniper Elite
Medievil II: Total War
Torchlight

Okay, let's post our final purchase lists! You can find a history of the games you bought by looking at your Profile and then your History, like this: http://steamcommunity.com/id/eastx/myhistory

1. What games did you buy during the Steam holiday sale?
(only post games bought from Dec. 22 - Jan. 3)

2. What game or package that you purchased was the best deal?

3. What game have you had the most fun with so far?

4. Were you disappointed with any of the games you bought during this sale?

I didn't buy much myself but what I did get I look forward to playing once my plate is clear.

On Dec 31 I got Shattered Horizon and on Dec 28 I snagged Burnout Paradise. Thats it for December but November had some grand deals also so my list is a little larger for it.

Nov 28 Borderlands and Lucidity.
Nov 27 Starwars: Knights of The Old Republic.
Nov 26 Batman: Arkham Asylum.
Nov 05 Mass Effect.

Hmm, I didn't buy much but, may as well post.

1. Torchlight, Borderlands, Silent Hill Homecoming.

2. Price wise, Silent Hill.

3. Borderlands. It runs surprisingly quickly (at minimum graphics, at least =P) and its a whole load of fun. I'm hooked. Got a glitch with my graphics card and Vista though. The solution is Windows 7 on the troubleshooting guide. Fucking game, making me fork out 60 for Windows 7... Other than that, just great game. If anyone fancys a game, Im not too high level ( 27, as Lilith ) but I'd love it =) Only got one person on my Steam who plays it.

4. Silent Hill. I changed the resolution and it took me ages to have to go into the vars_pc file where it stores everything and manually change it the default 800x600 or whatever. -.- Good game otherwise, but keeps crashing for some unknown reason. Have to save a LOT.

Only really other games which interested me where the Max Paynes. But I've already got them so, yeah. My computer can't handle much of the newer games. L4D2 is probably the most advanced. Its just about playable...
