Odd Computer Question

ok, here is the story:
Tonight i went to my friends house to hang out. Before i went over there i grabbed my new laptop and made my way to his house. As i was chilling with my friend and his younger brother and browsing on my laptop my other friend walked in the door. Since i had not eaten yet, he asked me if i wanted to go with him down the street to get food, i answered yes and my other friend said sure that he would go to. So before i logged off my computer my friends brother asked if he could use my computer and i said yes and left. when i came back we chilled and all, then i left and came home. As i am looking around on my computer i typed into the address bar and guess what i found..............porn sites. damn porn sites. a crap load of them. that bastard friend of mine was looking at porn on my computer. i want to kill him right now, but that is something for another day. My question is how can i completely remove any evidence of porn on my laptop? I run windows and use IE and Advant Browser. So i cleared the cookies, temp. folder, and history, but i still fear there is still porn on my laptop. I ran ad-aware and windows washer (which was recommended to me when i downloaded adaware). Can you guys recommend any way i could find where this porn is on my computer and delete and what free programs i can download to get rid of this shi*t on my computer (excuse my language, I am kind of mad). So any of you computer savie people on this board that could help me, it would be awesome. thanks! now i am off to shove my shoe up my friends brothers a**.

Heh. So you couldn't resist the urge to check out some porn sites, eh SavedFromSin? J/K That link above doesn't work.

Here's what you really want: http://www3.telus.net/mikebike/RESTORATION.html

Go in here and download the .zip file. Unzip it with WinZip or whatever and then you can use it. You don't need to install it, and you can just save it as is onto a floppy disk and/or burn it onto disc and use it from there without having to place it in your PC/Laptop. The cool thing about this program is that you can not only restore files, web addresses and such but also decimate old files. First, you click on 'Others,' then 'Delete' option. When prompted, click 'Yes'. It takes a lot of time to use because it relaces all vacan clusters first and then asks you if you would like to wipe out files completely, to which you click 'Yes' and it does so within less than a minute. Boom -- no more files.

It takes awhile for it to complete its run, especially if you've got a clogged up computer. But it's very thorough and well worth it. Oh, and it's freeware -- no charge necessary whatsoever!

Five stars all the way!

notice any spots in the screen? you dont really need to do much, just go to internet explorer, tool bar and go to internet option. Just click on "delete cookies", "delete files" and "clear history". that should leave any trace that you went to porn sites. you should also run adaware and norton antivirus to see if any torjan or spyware creeped into your system.

It's funny how so many people know exactly what to do in this situation.

Just remember, this is why you password protect your computer when returning from screen saver/hybernation.
