Game performance- XP vs win7 vs Vista

Well looks like XP isnt the dominating force anymore. So updating wouldnt be considered retarded now.

I've only played Hello Kitty Online on Windows 7, but regardless I LOVE Windows 7 and I'm never going back.

Love it.

Any system would be better than shitty Vista. I was fooled by it's sexiness. It's a fake!

After talking on IRC last night, Im set for getting a whole new computer (desktop) and it looks like I'll be making sure it has Windows 7.

I already have Win7 and a copy of Ultimate is coming in the mail because of my Best Buy accommodations.

Ever since I switched from Vista to Windows 7, it seems like L4D has been running worse for me. I think it's because there isn't a proper Windows 7 driver available for my video card yet, though.

On the other hand, I'm running a proper Nvidia driver and it also seems slower for me. I am running the RC, though...i don't know if the leaked versions are somehow better about that

You could try the new driver that was released recently to see how that works for you.
190.62 is the new revision. Just make sure you select 32bit or 64bit version. Its a little important.

I got my copy coming in the mail aswell, well two hehe. I got two vista laptops, I never really really had the pleasure to tinker around with vista until now, but It's given me plenty of headaches in the wifi manage zones.

I've seen the leaked win7 editions, but I can wait for a good oem or corp edition later.

I have never really had issues with Vista 64. But I'll get 7 no doubt. Is it stable enough to get right now or should I just wait for SP1?
