I'll make a guess at exact pricing just for shits and giggles:

Base Model: $599
W8Pro: $999

I think they have. Still, I bet a lot more people are weary of the initial release of MS' new console than otherwise would have been if not for the 360 debacle.

Weary? Yeah I would agree. I imagine it'll still be a sell out launch. People just love new toys. As long as they are happy in the present they'll forget about the crap they went through in the past to get here.
