Don't forget:

www.suprnova.org (be careful what you DL there, though, quality is variable)
www.animeyume.org
http://kaa.animeconnection.net/torrentpage/
a.scarywater.net (hosts tons of unlicensed stuff)

Well, anime suki usually ends up linking to scarywater, as thats were many fansubbers like to host.

kinda sad that I can start watching my anime within half to 2 hours while you have to wait at least 2 days for it to come by mail. also you know those chinese boxsets that you buy aren't any more legal than fansubs... in fact I consider it much worse to buy bootlegs than download fansubbed anime, if you don't know what to do with your money donate to a charity or something, geez.

Sorry the list is so short, it would be longer if this was a manga topic
Witch Hunter Robin is a drama I've got until episode 16. Nice story, bad subtitles :annoyed:
Anyway, one thing that really made me laugh was a scene where one the of vending machines was selling 'Cock Cola'.
Talk about not getting licenes!

Hey does Anime Suki require BitTorrnet to download? I see the sizes of the eps you download using it to be around 50 MB! When I downloaded all Hellsing eps they were around 20-35 MB, why the large size? Also, if you try to download 4 eps, they can come around 200 MB! I know I want quality, but not THAT quality!
How does BitTorrnet work anyway? I read in some sites that you should keep it open after downloading, what does this mean?

Anyway, if you're looking for a good SNK anime, try looking for:
Samurai Spirits: Asura's Revenge
I recommend renting it as it's got around 3 fights only, and some drama....

1.) Witch Hunter Robin has one of the worst endings ever.
2.) Yes, you need bit torrent to download from animesuki
3.) The average fansub size is 170 mb per episode. This is done in order to retain image quality. Fansubs that are below 100 mb look absolutely horrid.
4.) Bit torrent works in such a form. Basically as long as one person hosts a file, everyone can systematically pull down information. That downloaded information subsequently uploads to other users in an endless stream. This cycle is broken when no one hosts the file anymore. This is yet another example of why the RIAA are assclowns and will never sue anyone ever again.

What's wrong with the WHR ending (don't actually want to know the ending)? Is it one of those incomplete ones?

I've seen about twelve eps (first two DVDs and a couple shows on YTV) before I started missing them (Friday nights).

So that means I don't have to buy the remaining eps?

So technically it's like Kazaa?

kazaa is just one guys uploading the file to you and noone can download the file of off you until you're done, when using bittorent you download of guys who have parts of the file, or sometimes the whole file (those guys are called seeds), also you start uploading as soon as you have like a meg of the file done. just get a bittorent client, use it and you'll understand.

Let's put it this way.

Nothing happens. It's very similar to the Inu Yasha ending.

Sort of, save for the fact that all of Kazaa's servers are in one area (I think in the phillipeans). With bit torrent, the server is created and destroyed once there are no longer any seeders to the torrent itself. Thus it's pretty much impossible to trace.

That's what I figured.

Not that there's much of a story thread stretched though all the episodes, anyway, though.

I guess the anime is too old to get a second season or OVA.
