Ok heres some mods for Freelancer, very fun if slightly older space sim. I really enjoyed the game. Real shame they didnt make a sequel.

For those who love numbers, here are some statistics:
- 260 player flyable ships in the game total, of which 225 are introduced by Discovery;
- About 110 new player flyable ship models introduced by version 4.85;
- 134 systems in the game total, of which 79 are introduced by Discovery;
- 11 new systems in 4.85, with about 30 systems receiving significant updates in the latest version;

Privateer: The Reckoning began as a project to add ships from the Wing Commander and Privateer game series to Microsoft Freelancer, but has since blossomed into a full-blown total conversion of the game. The goal is nothing less than a complete recreation of Privateer's Gemini Sector in the Freelancer engine, complete with ships, weapons, bases and commodities.

Check this out. Its a mod called Delta Sector. You use it with the original farcry game and it updates all the graphics with 3 new single player missions and a multiplayer map. I'm actually not sure if it changes the graphics for the original single player game cause I'm too slack to check right now. But heres a video. Starts off with the original and then almost 2 min into it the clip switches to the mod. Screens at the link.

Hey, has anyone got a working mirror to download Call of Pripyat Complete? The STALKER mod. The download for both the .exe and the manual install on ModDB are broken and every other site just points directly to it.

Oh nice, found a torrent for version 1.4.1, which I guess is better than nothing. Really want to play through the STALKER games, never really gotten round to it.

A comment saying the link is broken was posted on ModDB about 2 months ago so I doubt it'll get fixed anytime soon, which is a shame since this mod looks really amazing from screenshots.

Oblivion prologue. The modders have really improved the graphics. Must play when it comes out.

Install is easy as hell, just extract the .rar to your directory and play, but you'll lose all your current saves and there's no way to back them up. Which I didn't read before installing, so, bit annoyed, but game is so gorgeus, fuck it, I'll play more.

Looks like a lot of filters and motion blur, but dang it sure makes all the difference

edit: OHH high res textures and lighting too, totally installing this soon. I imagine that'd take one heck of a hit on your PC performance though

Just to make a fast bump, steam is selling GTA4 with it's DLC for $10! Gonna get it and this mod! Ooooh the love I will make.

Yeah it looks great. And as a benchmark, your running a 560ti so should no problem. I'm with a GTX 460, playing the game on all High at 1920x1080, ran smooth with no problems. Framerate hovered around 40.

I installed this mod, and for me the contrast was way too high. A computer screen would light up half a room. Looks like it needs a lot of settings changed in the config file but i don't know what to change to get rid of the crazy brightness.

Isnt there any settings in the games menu for brightness? There really should be. Otherwise download a program that lets you adjust gamma on the fly.
