The most visible DirectX 10-exclusive feature is support for MSAA on high-end video cards. Once you max out the resolution your monitor supports natively, antialiasing becomes the key to achieving higher quality visuals.

Thats nothing different. EVERY game has scalable graphics. Doesnt mean it wont have high end. Look at gears of war for pc and xbox360. I know which one was gimped, and its definately not the pc.

Just saying since they had to make it look good on those two systems is why we get new performance tweaks, so it looks better than in the day gimped (on medium systems).
