I lost the desire to play it halfway through chapter 1 of inferno. Knowing that the drops are limited to just the auction house pisses me off. Zero urge to try and play 200 hours for 1 legendary drop that might not even be worth using. I was planning to play the other characters but I'm over it. Torchlight 2 and Grim Dawn. They're my next ones.

I've been working on strategy builds because I haven't been playing much and I'm still on Act 2 Inferno. Like I'm leveling my Barb with life per sec, life on hit, and life on kill. Outside of that I wish it would get an expansion soon. It took 1 year for D2 and SC to get an expansion and 3 years for WoW.

Play without sound; considering its very repetitious to some. Putting on a music CD or just simply the peace and quiet helps.

What just kills it for me is the consistent rubber banding. For me it's just unforgivable to still have that in a single player game. If the server side lag suddenly went away tomorrow I'd probably still be grinding.

Anyone still play? I leveled almost every class to 50-60, but the end game loot grind doesn't do anything for me, so I quit. It's a shame too because the game could be epic if Blizzard made some changes. It's not too late for an expansion/patch to come out that turns it around. All said, I spent almost 200 hours on the game, so it was worth $60.

Looking forward to Path of Exile (haven't played it yet but it looks like an updated Diablo 2) and Torchlight 2.

This video explains the unexplainable/impossible. He farms a lot for rares. But he mainly does runs with just mobs. But that's like 24/7 what he does.

I have been leveling my Barb, but lately the drops are terrible for him. My wizard cant seem to find anything good either. So I just do gold runs when I can.

Chronos; have you been playing the beta for Path of Exile? From what I'm readying its free, yet they are still doing a beta test. I can either wait for a key or pay $10 to get in to a closed beta.

Its looks good.

This looks good too. Plus it might have more experience with the Titan Quest engine and the men behind it too.

Grim Dawn will rock as will Torchlight 2. Given up playing diablo 3 long ago. Their auction house killed the games drops. No point playing unless you either want to try and make money by playing 24/7, or you want the best equipment possible and plan to spend money for it. I'm neither of those.

They fucked up for people like you and me. But for plenty others they did the best thing ever. Also its making them quite a bit of extra money. So to them its a success. Sadly what happens in the comic never happened to me. I'd get frustrated then go to the auction house, kill for many hours and not get anything decent, head back to auction house, repeat. The drops were pure shit all the time. Even crafting became a waste of time as it only had slightly better stuff than drops. But the auction house always had much better.

My friend refused to use the auction house. But come the second half of the second play through and he couldnt survive at all, and no manner of drops were helping him. Only my crafted items kept him alive for 3 seconds longer. He finally went to the auction house.

PoE feels great, but I did notice that it has 80% of Diablo 2's features. And I'm not saying that's a bad thing.
