Yeah, Vic? Why do you no respond to the PM?

Yeah, videogames are boring of late... with the exception that shines through now and again.

Radiant Silvergun
Sega Saturn/Treasure/1998.
Score 9.5/10.

Just simply wonderful!

There are many shooters. In the arcade, home, On your consoles or on your PC. Over the many shooters I have played, only one has caught my attention this much. This game is called Radiant Silvergun a brilliant game for the short-lived yet brilliant Sega Saturn. Everything about this game is brilliant, from the graphics, the music, the action, the game play. Everything is wonderful. I can't find what could be wrong in a game like this. This shooter caught my attention though my friend Icarus, he recommended me some Sega Saturn games. So with my birthday cash I picked up this game on EBAY. What can I say? I popped this game in and it reminds me of another small great shooter called ?Ikaruga? maybe you have heard of it? There are six weapons + the Radiant sword. The weapons are interesting and upgradeable. It takes a while to upgrade them all, but it's worth it. With the Radiant sword you can eat up certain shots and use them against the enemy's. When you have enough of these ?shots? you can unleash an Radiant Sword super move of some sorts, it looks awesome. The boss battles are fast and exciting. Like almost all shooters, this game gets really hard towards the end stages. The game slows down in speed here because you actually have to think what to do and how you are going to get though all the people shooting at you.

Final Point: Great wonderful shooter, pick it up. You won't regret paying the money.

You liked the music to Radiant Silvergun? I enjoyed how it fit with the first stage, etc, but I thought it was rather non-eventful, as is ALL Treasure music. God I hope Konami doesn't let Treasure do the music for Gradius V! One thing Treasure didn't take from Konami was any of the musicians!

I look forward to your review of Super 8 Man.

Simrnof-X, while I find many of your posts amusing, you shouldn't write something if you're going to simply upset another member (warranted that there is no good reasoning for doing so, e.g. they're antagonizing you or something, and even then you would just go back and forth). The thing to remember is that this is NEO-GEO's reviews section, so if you don't like his reviews then the best thing would be to not make a response to them. Or, if you do respond, not insult but instead make a constructive argument as to why you may disagree with a certain review. Better yet, you could PM the person you have a conflict of interest with and not fill up his section with negative posts. See what I'm saying?

Joe, what are you talking about?!? Treasure music is "uneventful"?? Have you ever heard Gunstar Heroes, Dynamite Headdy, and/or Guardian Heroes? Those soundtracks are great!
