Metroid DS has a date

I don't know if anyone else has seen this but the Wifi main site has Metroid listed for a release on March 20th. Just goto where it says the online status for each online game. :cool guy:

Cool. I hope the online is good fun. Is Metroid a big seller worldwide? I have Prime but didn't really get into it that much.

I never ended up finishing my copy and lent it to another person.

Same with Zelda WW.

Same here, Metriod Prime bored me. Shocking. Still, I look forward to this next one, the first one may have been a bit boring but I still have hope, and online play would only make it better.

Prime was alot of fun, but i stopped playing it very early because it made me sick. It wasnt much of a FPS game as it was adventure too, but still..... It was a FPS on a console.

I went PC and ill never go back. I literally had to stop playing prime because i was getting headaches to the point of being sick. I felt like a handicapped child trying to control samus, i knew exactly what i wanted to do, but couldnt perform. Sort of like if you try typing with your arms criss-crossed.

Luckily the controls in Hunters is a flippan dream. If there was ever going to be an alternative to Mouse/Keyboard, that is it.

I would like to know something about the DS though. Sofar the only WiFi games we have had allow 4players. Is that a hardware limitation? Or is nintendo just charting waters for now and taking it slow.

Nothing would make my day more than an online MP hunters game with 16 people

I enjoyed Prime but the sequel bored me. I don't know about Hunters. I don't really like how it plays on the DS.

i couldnt believe how bad metroid prime was for all the rave reviews and hype. it just didnt draw me in at all, and the action (what little there was) hardly flowed.

A little info on the game.

Quote:
http://www.4colorrebellion.com/archi...-hunters-info/

*Nintendo hopes that the 6 bounty hunters will become so popular, they get their own spin-off games

*If a hunter acquires an artifact during gameplay, you have to track him down to take it (even if it means to go to another world)

*In multiplayer mode there will be over 25 maps to choose from

*In gameplay there will be at least 5 worlds to travel to

*Official game release: March 20th

I love Metroid Prime; it's such an immersive game, and some people don't have the will to finish it?

The audio-visual presentation is immaculate; the attention-to-detail of the worlds provides the player with unbelievable atmosphere; and what Metroid fan could possibly ignore the true-to-the-series feeling of the game?

And perhaps my perception of certain games is wildly different than most, but I think Metroid Prime supplied an awe-inducing feeling of solitude. And to this day, I've yet to play a game that matched its seamless loading.

Wow, that actually makes it seem more fun though. What I played I had to spend lots of time wandering around empty rooms, man that bored me so fast, also the enemies I was running into were so boring, I liked the space pirates but after the beginning there didn't seem to be that many of them.

... hmm maybe its just been to long. I'd play it again if I could find it cheap.

did you even play the first few metroids? maybe not beat them, but atleast play them. every metroid game has a feel because its sidescroller and samus is the center of the screen. this played to me like a FPS. with alot of "duck behind this wall", and "stop so you can aim". when i play a normal side scroller metroid im CONSTANTLY moving. infact i usually toy with enemies. it prime i usually had to stop to get my bearings and then attempt to kill whatever was there. plus it was extremely hard to handle 3+ enemies at a time since you had to lock onto one if you wanted to stand a chance which meant you couldn't keep track too well of the other 3 guys attacking you. the games story was great to me, infact i loved it. the gameplay though just didnt perform. give me wasd and my mouse anyday. i didnt really enjoy the game play of it, i kinda wanna go back just to finish the story.

anyways,

i love hunters infact im gonna buy asap. then beat it and humiliate it like i do every other metroid game (except prime)
