Dead Rising 3 Coming to PC This Summer, System Specs Revealed
Capcom confirms new version of zombie game launching this summer on Steam.

by Eddie Makuch on June 5, 2014

Capcom announced today that after shipping one million copies on Xbox One, open-world zombie game Dead Rising 3 is coming to PC this summer on Steam. The PC version includes full Steam support, including Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, Trading Cards, leaderboard, and controller support.

The Xbox One version of Dead Rising 3 welcomed numerous expansion packs included with its $30 DLC pass. Capcom didn't say today if the PC version of Dead Rising 3 will include any DLC, but teased, "More info to come!" For more on Dead Rising 3, check out GameSpot's review.

Minimum System Requirements:

OS: Windows 7 64-bit edition, Windows 8 64-bit edition
Processor: Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.30GHz (or Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 @ 2.83GHz) / AMD Phenom II X4 945 @ 3.00 GHz or higher
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Hard Drive: 30 GB free
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 / AMD Radeon 7870 or higher
DirectX: Version 11
Controller: Keyboard (international and standard), Mouse (up to 4 buttons), Xbox 360 PC compatible controller or compatible gamepad
Connection: Broadband internet connection and Steam account required

Recommended System Requirements:

OS: Windows 7 64-bit edition, Windows 8 64-bit edition
Processor: Intel Core i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHz or AMD equivalent
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Hard Drive: 30 GB free
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 2GB / AMD Radeon 7970 2GB
DirectX: Version 11.1 or greater
Let's hope it won't suffer from framerate issues. On a side note, this is one of the first games I've noticed that require something more than a 560Ti to play. I'm glad I sneaked into the Recommended specs. Will be excited to see this game running at 60fps, 1080p and not 30fps/720p like the X1.

Why does Windows 7 require more specs than Windows 8 when Windows 7 is way better and only losers use Windows 8?
