Monitor calibration

During cyber monday I was looking at some monitors, and it reminded me that I probably should calibrate mine. I did use some free tool originally, but I don't think it was very good or I rushed through it.

After I took my time with a more in depth calibration guide, the results were amazing. My gamma settings were especially out of whack, and I had to use a weird combination of my monitor settings with nvidia settings like gamma and digital vibrance to get everything right, but what a difference proper calibration makes. Do yourselves all a favor and properly calibrate, if you haven't already.

Used http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/. If anyone knows of a better one post it here.

I downloaded the offline mode and then tried to use it. But I was unaware such technology existed. Its not a dumb thread Chronos, but informative.

There are generations of people now learning about building their own PCs and this type of information is great.

I'd mess with it more if I had the time. Its finals week.
