There has been quiet a bit of activity on Facebook group chat even though it's not as great and it very limited options. Also it's annoying the fact you can no longer tell who is active in the chat. If we decide to come back to a alternative chat group I think it may work out better if it was somehow more direct from the forums website. I think the biggest the IRC channel was about 12 active members but it died down a while ago.

IRC was awesome, I remember a lot of good conversations there, 1% of which actually involved games. I tried using Facebook and the Facebook chat but... not a fan of either at all.

I just found out that there is app you can download for Windows. It will let you talk with the Magicbox group and with your friends without having to be on the Facebook website.
