I'm using Bitdefender Total Security 2009 and it seems that Windows 7 don't / can't recognize the "weekly" file from Bitdefender website. Need "elevation" or sort.

I'm using Windows 7 32-Bit.

has different ratings.... I just got a new laptop so i am in need of new antivirus (has mcafee trial for 3 months right now) I do have Norton though. Does Avira work well with 64bit?
That place ranks the scanners by features and other things. Its not saying which ones work better. Its true though that bitdefender and kaspersky are super easy to use.

I thought we had a newer antivirus thread. Anyway, Avia has some nasty popups and stuff lately. Here's an actual working guide to disabling them on Windows 7.

I think my virus scanner finally expires sometime this year. Will be grabbing the new Kaspersky when that happens.

I've always liked AVG Free. I haven't had any issues and I download a lot of stuff.

I been using Avira but lately it's been annoying me with it's pop-ups that appear when you run your computer.

68 days till my kaspersky dies and I put in some money for Kaspersky Pure 2.0 WOOOOO! Some good deals at he moment. Aussie website shows me $65 for 1 pc that lasts 2 years, or $130 for 3 pcs that last for 2 years. Which would make it $44ish per person. Thats $22 a year olololo
