the way they did it for starcraft was that single player is offline, and you can even let other computers play it, but all the Battle.net stuff has to be from your account that is registered with the CD key. So multiplayer and achievements wouldn't unlock without your account.

I'm assuming it's going to be the same way.

After playing down on the open beta, I must say I'm completely sold. Really enjoyed every class and the complete overhaul to the skill system. Only problem now is deciding which one to pick up first at release.

Ya I know what you mean, I ended up getting all 5 to 13 thinking I would pick a starting class once I saw more abilities. Problem was every class just kept getting better and better. Probably going to avoid the barb though, felt too straightforward compared to the shenanigans you could unleash with the other 4.

I'm torn between monk and wizard myself, both just had too much onslaught of awesome. Overall it probably won't matter as I'm sure, much like most everyone, I'll play all the classes a bit. The problem is I know whichever I pick up first will consume that first month of play, so I want to make that first choice count. The less regrets the better.
