Gameof Thrones browser MMO

Browser MMO. Thats right. Confused, surprised and possibly slightly annoyed I bet! Who knows if it'll be worth it.

Factions and PvP

At least at first players will be able to join one of three factions: the Lannisters, the Baratheons, or the Starks. The three factions are in a struggle to place a King’s Hand in King’s Landing. As a player, you won’t actually be a member of any of the three major Houses. Instead, you’ll play as a member of one of the smaller vassal Houses (or guild), and can even switch allegiance.

Most of the game will center around player-vs-player combat, as well as bribery and deceit. Which is fitting given the nature of the books this game is based off of. Combat will take place in arenas and skirmishes across the Seven Kingdoms. (For now at least the Free Cities, Slaver’s Bay, and other areas will not be included, though I wouldn’t be surprised if these were unlockable later on.)

As you progress, skirmishes evolve into all-out sieges and other grand scale battles. Combat itself will be dynamic, using keyboard (WASD) and mouse combinations to unleash special attacks in real time. Meanwhile mounted combat will be released later down the road, though players can ride mounts from the get-go.
