Was looking around for picture viewers. Gotten tired of ACDSee picking up every file under the sun and demanding it views them even when I say NO. So I found a really awesome replacement.

Zoner Photo Studio Free

http://free.zoner.com/download.asp

Took a little staring at to figure out what part does what. But I also like the photo editing bits. Very simple too really. And it actually ignores video files thank god. This is the free version. Theres a super god version that you pay for if you want super god photo editing stuff. Other popular pic viewers are

XnView

http://www.xnview.com/en/downloadwin32.html

IrfanView

http://www.irfanview.com/

All free. Was never a fan of irfanview though. Something about it bugs me.

Heres some advice on virus scanners that are free for those still using shit like AVG etc.

http://www.free-av.com/en/products/1...antivirus.html

Its one of the best scanners out there and free. Not much else you could ask for. The next best thing would be microsofts free scanner.

Heres a link to a few comprehensive reviews of a bunch of a bunch of scanners. Theres plenty of indepth detail all from detecting, malware, removals, and false positives.

Erased your audio device?

Are you able to reinstall it from Device Manager? Your computer should be able to find it if you scan for it in Device Manager.

Or is it the driver itself? I think most computers use Sound Blaster Live! for their audio. I don't know if I'm any help at all.

Not really the thread to ask for help. But find out the model of your motherboard and then go to the website and download your audio drivers, or find them on your disc that came with your board. I'm going to take a massive guess and say you have basic onboard sound.

Ok this isnt a program but its something you should all have. Ever download something or find a file on your pc and you're wondering if its a virus or infected? Want to test something before you unrar it or whatever? Upload it to this site and it'll run it through a dozen or so virus scanners and see if it picks up anything. The site isnt a cleaning site just a scanning site. Will also give you an idea of which scanners are awesome.
