it's both offline and online I'm not expecting the offline mode to be much different from a regular DQ game so I don't see the problem.

Wasn't necessary in 9 and not here either.

I would rather they actually focus and make a good single player instead of waffling about on both.

They could just make both good like most other games manage. Apprantly you can clear the game 100% solo according to the news post on Siliconera so don't just panic to quickly.

My point is one mode always suffers because of the other - usually the SP mode is the one that suffers.

I've been everywhere in the game and the game doesn't progress even if I revisit and talk to everyone again. What am I missing!

I haven't played DQ9 yet so I'm not sure how the single player would work. I don't really care for MMORPGs anymore...

Also, Einhander needs to be banned from bringing up his tired multiplayer argument. We get it already, all it does now is detract from discussion of the actual news.
