Miracle Kidz features a lot of former Technōs Japan staff (which sounds kinda sad, as I thought they where some initially an indie/doujin developer?).

To be honest as the local belt scroll fanboy, I never cared THAT much about River City Ransom and the rest of the Kunio-kun series (Kunio Tachi No Banka superior to River City Ransom btw). Technos has always meant the Double Dragon series and Shadow Force to me as far as belt scrolling titles go. Guess I just don't care for this type of Beat'em up (along with Kenka Bancho and Yakuza/Ryu ga Gotoku series, although they don't belt scroll it's more in spirit of this type of Beat'em up).
