Seems like it will be cool aspect of the game. For some reason I have always liked being able to craft my own gear in games, and this fits that pretty well.

Any word on if D3 will charge a monthly sub? Will your characters and items expire after 90 days of non-use like Diablo II's did?

I would probably still be playing Diablo 2 if they hadn't deleted all my shit I spent years building up because I simply took a break from it and forgot to log in to keep the characters active.

I doubt there will be a monthly pricing. Starcraft 2 doesnt for example.

They will say when the game gets closer to releasing (wich by Blizz standards is later than you expect and divided in 3 parts).

Either way nothing leads to believe the game will be pay to play. It would depend on how much online content there is. I doubt it though, given they have WoW and the new upcoming MMO to fall back on.

I'm sure Diablo 3 will be pretty pricey for a PC game though.

Well, hopefully there is no "purging" of inactive characters. I'll be all over this game if they change that.

I really like how the shops/area becomes larger when upgraded. At first I was thinking the caravan followed the player, but this seems more like they're found in town. Glad to hear. Ever since witnessing SC2 campaign, Diablo 3 cant be anything but amazing. Here's hoping they release just a game and not a client.

Got a copy reserved already. Might get the CE.

I'm not a fan of customization because it doesnt leave a sense of exploration for the player to the creator. But this might seem more useful in the foundation game that made the genre.

I would LOVE nothing more than to play a brand-spanking new Diablo game. I loved the first two, and hopefully, I'll love the third one. What makes matters better; CUSTOMIZATION! Whoo!

If you like Diablo you should play Torchlight then. The sequel is coming out soon too. The guys who made it are most of the original Diablo 1 and 2 team.
