I already bought Oblivion twice. My first disk developed a stress fracture (as far as I can tell) that radiated from the inner circle out about an inch and a half. Didn't want it to shatter in my 360 so I picked up a 20 dollar version to replace. Later downloaded it for PC though I didn't buy it. I felt like buying it twice entitled me to it.

I wish Steam had Arena and Daggerfall of the Elder Scrolls series. I already have all those games, but I might buy the Morrowind GOTY for $5, as I own the Xbox version and it would be cool to see it in higher resolutions on my PC. Morrowind is slightly better than Oblivion, IMO.

I couldn't get into Morrowind. I kept getting lost. I'm bad and following directions and have a poor memory to begin with so the lack of a compass pointing me in the right direction all the time really hurt me some.

It is easy to get sidetracked in Morrowind, as there are so many awesome adventures to complete in the game and so many places to explore.

Dont buy Oblivion or Fallout online. I'm not sure about Steam but I know other places you cant use mods with them, so possibly steam falls under that category for lazy people like me. Go buy it in the store, they're already cheap there. Mods make these games so much better. Especially shitty fallout.

You can use mods with the Steam versions. You just have to use a Nocd exe file. And no, the GOTY versions are definitely not this cheap in a store!

Jimmy, they are weekend sales.

I was wondering how you'd mod them on steam myself, cause these games practically REQUIRE mods.
