I don't know what the hell is wrong with you. I know what type of person you are, you're the kind of person that will blame microsoft for making money, but then you'll go and buy SONY products because they're "cool".

Did you ever notice that SONY, before making the Psx, was one of the biggest record companies? Also owned movie studios? Made Walkman, tvs and everything for your home?

Do you remember how bad their games were in the SNES days?

Why would anybody blame Microsoft for making money? They're a corporation, thats what they do. Do you seriously believe that all PS2 owners hate Microsoft for making a console? Most of the PS2 owners are using Windows, and most likely IE.

Did you know the SNES was 40% developed by Sony? I guess not. Did you know The PSX was initially a prototype to be attached to the SNES as a CD unit? Thats Nintendo rejected them because they wanted to stick to the cartrdige format, commiting the biggest mistake in their developing history?

Yes, Sony is a juggernaut bigger than probably Microsoft itself. You will be hard pressed not to find a Sony product in your household.

However at lerast Sony develops its own hardware, and doesn't base its Corporate Motto on "Buy this product out so we can make it part of our own".

Neither company is "cool", but Sony does at least deserve respect for its R&D innovation.

I have nothing against Ps2's I OWN one. I just think some people have a strange bias for Sony.

I can understand loving Sega, Nintendo, or AtARI since they made games.

The only game I know that I can think of off hand that Sony made for the SNES was Hook. Sony Imagesoft. I know there are others but I cant think of the names.

Polyphony Digital developed GT3. They may be considered 1st party, but I'm not sure. NaNaOn-Sha did PaRappa. Acquire did Tenchu. SCEA is listed as the dev for ICO though. But I remember there was a seperate group who did ICO. Not a company we know today. I still doubt, that Sony developed any game in the SNES days. Maybe published.

Polyphony Digital is first party. So are the makers of PaRappa. The original Tenchu was by Sony, as was ICO.

Quite frankly, I think Sony is underappreciated as a games developer.

I never seen Sony has a game develloper personally.

They always did make harwares for every kind electronic medium we know so far such as Walkman, TV,DVD player ect...

The Playstation serie is the same as the MD brand or Wega brand.
