I, uuh, got every character in Final Fantasy III (VI) to Lv.99. That took me about 15 hours or so to do (*note* my characters were already around Lv.40-50, so I just sat on that island with all the dinosaurs and killed away). I beat Kefka in one turn (because my Sabin could produce 8 attacks and each hit caused 9,999 damage). I don't know if it was worth it seeing as I could just cast Vanish and then Death on him. That, and he's such a wuss anyway.
I've heard about people becoming addicted to online games such as Ragnarok, but I've never played any of 'em. While I'm not trying to downplay your accomplishment, Seraph830, I just don't get how getting a character to Lv.99 in an RPG after 1,000 hours is worth that massive loss of time. That's approx. 41.66 days' time gone by. Oh well, whatever floats your boat. Time keeps on ticking.

Its not like it was unenjoyable the whole time. I had fun the whole way through so i dont think it was a waste at all.
Sort of like if it was your hobby to carve out your face in the side of a mountian like mount rushmore. You loved to just get on that rock and carve away, and after 10 years of working on it, you finally accomplished something great. 99 is kind of the end product of having fun for 2 years. Like if you practiced street fighter for 2 years, and it eventually built up to something great. |
