Lucasarts expect to make major announcement soon

Soon as in a few weeks... could this be Factor 5's game(s)? Rogue Squadron III possibly..... and Thornado?!

That's such a dumb title...

Whatever it is though.. if it's from F5.. it should be good.

Maybe thats what they want you to think?! Then at E3, they gonna blow the lid and announced its back and kicking asses. I knew Factor 5 was working on it when Rogue Squadron II was in development. And just a few weeks ago, words leak that Factor 5 was working on two games!

Go over to their site and it says the title is in production. Back to Rogue Squadron III, I say only "oh yes!" Factor 5 said their new project blows Rogue Leader out of the water graphically. we showed be in for some real candy.

I wouldn't see why not. Factor 5 has worked really close with the Nintendo for the GCN since building it. I say any game they make this gen is GCN only.

Oh I also heard last year Factor 5 was working on 3 projects. Here's my guess.

1. Rogue Squadron III (because Lucas Arts and factor 5 made hints of it.)
2. Thornado (Their site says it's still in production)
3. New Game (since Thornado is rumored to be canceled it's said what work was done was moved to a new game. Maybe the did work on Thornado but was moving some work from it on this game?)

Well, with the announce ment that Star Wars Galaxies has been delayed (which was no surprise really because their just now starting to gear up for Beta Phase 3) I hope this is something better than another Rogue Squad game... come on give us some Full Throttle 2 and Sam and Max Sequel details!!! Thats where the Lucasart love is right now. And of course this announcement could be SW Galaxies is coming to the Cube as well or they could be planning the Second exspansion after the Space for for SW Galaxies... I think if anything, their big announcement is going to be about Galaxies... but I could be wrong.

Sam and Max and Full Throttle kicked ass, but I've seen shot taken from Full Throttle 2 and its 3D (ala Monkey Island 4). I just hope Sam and Max stays 2D!!

Something just hit me... this announcement could be that Lucasarts is dropping console development for a while... after all, all Lucas properties did merger into one a few months back...

Then theres the possible buy out... which Mircosoft would just about be the ONLY competitor.

I really wish we could get a link to this information.

I'm pretty sure George Lucas would not want one of his companies to be bought out by Bill Gates'...

Oh and I'd be down with a new Sam & Max.. as long as it's still good...so very good.

Well maybe I shouldn't of said buy as much as I should of said a partner ship... that or Sony could be doing the same, after all Sony is developing Star Wars Galaxies for LucasArts.
