Some people suggested a dedicated thread for Game Sack, so here it is.

Here is the channel if you are interested in subscribing or doing any of that nonsense.

And here is the latest episode, which is about 16-bit ninja games!

I always felt that both Shadow Dancer and Shinobi III's soundtracks were far better than Revenge of Shinobi's. Yuzo Koshiro was/is a great composer, don't get me wrong, but he really shined with Streets of Rage 1 & 2, Actraiser, Super Adventure Island, etc. RoS is more techno beats. Ninja Spirit is clearly trying to distance itself from Shinobi's style of play, e.g. changing weapons on the fly, floaty jumps, etc.

I'll have to go with Joe on this one: Shadow Dancer is the most consistently fun game of the bunch. Revenge of Shinobi has too much trial and error.

P.S. You left out some ninja games, like The Ninja Warriors Again for the SNES.

We're pretty sure that everyone's favorite pastime is informing us of which games we missed. We even hinted about it in the episode.

That came off as very condescending. I mean, if you commented in a thread and the original poster gave a snide reply w/o addressing anything you said, you wouldn't be too pleased. I didn't bring up Ninja Warriors to start trouble, I was simply making conversation.
