need new keyboard
not spending over $50 (unless there's an awesome rebate). needs:
- oldschool ibm button layout - extra to left of keyboard. - handle at least 5 button presses @ once - fast key input. doesn't stick or have laggy presses. |

Depends on what you want it for. Games?
If I were you I'd just get a standard, nice to type on keyboard. $10 Having 50 more hotkeys, media buttons, LCD readouts, or illuminated keys is not going to improve your performance in games. One of the best Unreal Tournament players I ever met kicked my butt using a standard Microsoft keyboard and ball mouse. I think that was the exact turning point that I stopped buying $50+ “gaming” keyboards & mice. |

You could probably get one of those "natural" keyboards.
![]() They were the best kind I've ever used and was easy with gaming. That with a good mouse (or trackball if your so inclined) would be a good combo.

Hell no. Those are annoying to get used to. And not that gamer friendly. Claw keyboards are the best for gaming.

I personally prefer the Stealth keyboard for gaming, as the WASD and hot button keys on the left hand side are nice and big and tilted slightly, to fit the natural resting point of your hand on a keyboard. It's especially nice for first person RPG's, like Oblivion and Fallout 3, where you're using the WASD keys for an extended period of time. It's a little more than $50, but well worth it, IMO.

Vegetos is the claw. Its the only perfect keyboard for fps games and other stuff including MMOs.
