RE on the 3DS

running on MT Framework Mobile

Left without HDR, right with HDR

Left without color correction, right with it.

Looks awesome, that's really on the 3DS? Nice one Nintendo.

I'm assuming the 3DS allows you to turn certain graphical effects on and off, or at least the software does. The game looks great and while I'd prefer not to turn off the graphical perks, the game looks good enough without them too.

I'm happy about the graphic power of the 3DS. I just hope this stays true to the final version of the hardware.

Nice indeed. I'm quite looking foward to the 3DS and it'll be great to have another platform for some RPG goodness aswell.

I don't understand why they'd release pictures of the effects turned off.

I'm assuming HDR is for the 3D effect?

HDR just improves the lighting and shadows and makes everything more realistic. It also does a performance hit on your system. I'm really confused at the screenshots to be honest. For one why can you switch between the two. If it runs smooth with all effects on why have an off option? Is there an off option. Are these improvements they made from the original. Too many damn questions.

These pictures are just showing off the hardware's capabilities. The real game won't have these options, I assure you.

There really isn't a whole hell of a lot of difference between the left and the right pictures (especially the last one). I don't understand the point of the comparison.
