Bout bloody time this was put into english. Its an isometric rpg. Kinda like diablo if I recall. But it looked like it had promise.

I sampled the demo for an hour or so.

The good:
-Ample amount of customization to choose from.
-Lots of quests.
-Plenty of enemies to kill.

The bad:
-Point and click.
-No "target nearest enemy."
-No "auto-attack" feature.

I hope they allow hotkeys to be able to cycle through nearby enemies instead of having to click on the target. Also, auto-attack should be mandatory in such games because I don't feel like clicking the mouse repeatedly in combat.

Diablo style games have never had cycle through enemies. Usually its clikclick on the enemy or hold the mouse button down ontop of the enemy. The bad stuff in your list are features of this style. Its not a turn based rpg.

Graphics are decent but gameplay beh!

Wait, isnt silverfall diablo style? Arcanum is a semi turn based party rpg.

Well, I was hoping Monte Cristo would do something different in terms of targeting and attacking to make it less frustrating. Selecting a far away enemy via a mouse isn't much of a problem if it isn't amongst a crowd - however when you have numerous monsters encroaching, trying to click on the one you want is a nuisance (particularly if you zoom out the camera). This problem is compounded further since I have to repeatedly click the right mouse button over that enemy to continue attacking.

<Shrugs>

Yet another title I was anticipating that likely may turn into a disappointment.

Sounds like another crappy "action" RPG. It's too bad since the graphical style was interesting.

It was a bit different. It was party and you could pause the game and issue out commands. Completely and totally different to a single character diablo style non pausing gaming.
