If that's the trend, maybe Square Enix will release all 3 FF13 on Switch as cloud games, since they are on smartphone already.

Phantasy Star Online 2: Cloud Launches Service For Switch In Japan In Spring 2018

We learned back in September that the Cloud streaming free-to-play version of Phantasy Star Online 2: Cloud is headed to Switch. Sega announced at Jump Festa that itíll arrive in Japan in Spring 2018. [Thanks, Game Watch.]

During a special talk show, it was revealed that the Nintendo Switch version of Phantasy Star Online 2: Cloud will simply have players install a client that is just a several MB in size, and from there can play the game through cloud streaming. That said, players will need reliable Internet connection to play the game smoothly.

The frame rates are set at 30fps, but depending on the network situation players may experience lag. Phantasy Star Online 2: Cloud canít play quests with other versions besides the PC version of Phantasy Star Online 2. However, since theyíre all connected with the Sega ID account, they share Arks Cash and Star Gems under the same account. Players will also get to play the same account across different versions as long as itís not logged in on more than one version at a time.

Since itís a Cloud streaming game, you wonít have to worry about downloading updates, as the server will always contain the latest data for the game.

Phantasy Star Online 2: Cloud launches in Spring 2018. Sega said during the even that it likely wonít be in May or June, so expect it in the earlier part of spring.
