I’d never thought I see SNK support the Cube. Good news.

I dont give a damm what game starts off the SNK/Nintendo relationship, this is nothing BUT good news.

I never thought I'd see the day when the first "next gen" developer in Sony who was the first in a long time back in 97 to bring out KOF 95 which was the first SNK third party game in a long while, deny themselves 2-d releases.

So were looking a Gcube and Xbox getting 2-d games and the PS2 getting all the 3d ones?

Interesting set up, BRING ON SVC CHAOS FOR CUBE!

Good news now that SCEA are gone anti-2D they have too surport the GC and XB as long as we keep getting them that's the main thing.

Great news for SNK fans that only have a Gamecube in Japan. :)

But does anyone know if the game will be released in the US? Or when if ever?
Also I haven't played Metal Slug 4, can anyone tell me if I should be excited or not?

Still hopefully this will lead to SNKP releasing NGBC for Cube, or a port of the next KOF. Despite the GC controller not being ideal for fighting games, that doesn't mean people don't want to play them or I am unable to just buy another more compatible controller. Either way :thumb-up: and I hope to hear about it being released before Winter of 2005.

They should release a Metal Slug Collection for the Gamecube Nintendo. It should have Metal Slug 1-5 and X, all arcade perfect. There is no reason it can't be done. It might be a little weird to control with the Gamecube Nintendo's controller though, since the d-pad is made for children's hands.

I know 2 more Metal Slugs are coming out for Xbox so they will probably just port them over to Cube once they get released. It is about the Gamecube gets something like this.

that's what I said except that part about gc d-pad=children associated...

it's the same size as the GBA and surprisingly I think it works great for SC2 unlike how aweful it was for Capcom v.s. SNK2:EO.

Here I thought I was the only one who actually noticed that, makes you really wonder why Nintendo released the wavebird when they could have released an snes style controller as well.

Yep, but it's still well after the XB/PS2 versions with no extras no doubt.

I find it funny that the magic box did not say anything about this in their news section.
